The problem they solve

Right, let's be honest: nobody is excited about wheelie bin stickers. But there's a very real suburban frustration these things address. Bin day comes, the lorry does its rounds, and somehow your bin ends up three doors down with someone else's rubbish already in it. Happens more than it should.

For under two quid, you get four stickers with your house number and road name, plus a couple of novelty options including what appears to be a pet-lover variation. They're self-adhesive vinyl, so they should handle a bit of British weather without peeling off immediately.

Who this actually suits

If you live on a terrace where everyone has identical grey bins, this is spot on. Stick your number on clearly, job done. The personalised element is a nice touch too, feels a bit less generic than a permanent marker scrawled across the lid.

That said, I do have one reservation. At this price point, the print quality and adhesive longevity are genuine unknowns. Vinyl stickers vary wildly, and some cheap ones go chalky and peel within a season. Fingers crossed these hold up better than that.

Not for everyone

If your bins live behind a gate and never get mixed up, honestly, skip it. And if you were hoping for something a bit more decorative for the garden, these are purely functional. No frills, no style points.

For less than the price of a chocolate bar though, the risk is pretty minimal. Proper practical little buy for the right household.
