How we pick the products, how we write the articles, how we fund the site. No jargon, no spin.

How we pick the products

Every morning before 6am, we pull the best Amazon UK offers spotted by the HotUKDeals community - where thousands of deal hunters vote for the real bargains with their "heat" score. We filter out anything we've already published in the last 30 days, keep a category mix, and shortlist 8 fresh picks for the day. The last 2 slots are reserved for "still hot" picks - deals that have been near the top of HotUKDeals for days and that we republish as a reminder.

No brand pays to appear in our selection. The curation stays 100% independent.

How we write the articles

We use an artificial-intelligence model (Claude Sonnet 4.6, from Anthropic) with a system prompt tuned to keep the Your Next Bargain voice: direct, opinionated, anecdote when relevant. The model doesn't invent product specs; it works from Amazon's real data and the HotUKDeals card (title, price, category, community heat). We vary the angle by product: review opinion, comparison with an alternative, demo of concrete use, or a more considered dossier for higher-value purchases.

Every article goes through human review before publication. The AI-assistance note appears at the bottom of each article and in each newsletter. The byline stays "The Your Next Bargain team" because inventing a fake human author would be misleading.

How we fund the site

Your Next Bargain is registered in the Amazon Associates Programme (Amazon EU). When you buy a product via one of our links, we receive a commission on the sale. The purchase price stays exactly the same for you - Amazon takes our commission from its own margin, never from yours.

No other revenue: no display ads, no sponsored placements, no reader-data sales (we don't track anyone beyond strict technical necessity - see the privacy policy).

Our transparency

  • Each article cites its source (HotUKDeals + Amazon) and the community heat at the time of curation.
  • AI assistance is noted explicitly at the bottom of each article and in each newsletter.
  • The Amazon affiliate relationship is disclosed next to every "See deal on Amazon" button, not just in the footer.
  • The legal notice, the privacy policy and the affiliate disclosure are reachable from the bottom of every page.

A question, a remark, an error?

If you spot a price error, a description that sounds off, or want to write for any other reason, the contact is in the legal notice. We read everything.

Your Next Bargain

A daily newsletter: ten Amazon deals, hand-picked, written like you'd tell a mate. No clickbait, no AI top-50 lists.
