The bit that actually matters: battery life

Fourteen days. On a smartwatch. My old Fitbit would barely scrape four before guilt-tripping me with a low battery buzz mid-run. The GT 5's stamina is the headline here, and it's not marketing fluff. Huawei has always been strong on this, and the GT 5 continues that. If you hate charging things (same), this is genuinely refreshing.

Who this is for, honestly

If you're deep into the Apple or Google ecosystem, stop here. The Huawei Health app does the job, but third-party app support is thin on the ground. No Strava sync natively, no Google Maps on your wrist. For someone who wants fitness tracking, sleep data, a sharp-looking watch face, and a battery that lasts the actual week, though? Spot on.

The sharp-edged 46mm case looks proper smart in person, less plasticky than you'd expect at this price point.

The Like New caveat

Amazon Resale grades are generally decent, but Like New is a bit of a spectrum. Could be a return from someone who opened the box and changed their mind. Could have a faint scratch. At around £109 versus roughly £150-160 new, the saving is real enough to justify the minor uncertainty, especially with Amazon's returns policy behind it.

Personally I'd buy it. The GT 5 at full price is already a solid deal for battery-obsessed folks or Android users who don't need the full Wear OS circus. At this price, refurbished risk included, it's hard to argue with.
