What you're actually getting

Four films. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. All in 4K UHD, all yours to keep on Prime Video. For under six quid. That's less than a pint in most of London, mate.

Raiders alone is worth the price of entry. Put it on a half-decent telly and the thing still holds up remarkably well. The market chase scene, the melting faces, Harrison Ford looking genuinely stressed rather than CGI-stressed. There's a reason people keep coming back to it.

The honest reservation

Look, Crystal Skull is in here. It just is. Nobody's pretending otherwise. If you've blocked it from memory, fair enough, but you're still paying for it whether you like it or not. Think of it as a coaster that came free with three excellent films.

Also worth knowing: this is a digital purchase tied to Prime Video. You're not getting a physical disc, no special features box, no behind-the-scenes extras. If you care about that sort of thing, this isn't your format.

Who this is actually for

Personally, I think this is spot on for someone who wants the trilogy (and the bonus film) without cluttering a shelf. Great if you've got kids who haven't seen Raiders yet, or if your old DVD copies have finally given up the ghost. The 4K picture quality on Last Crusade especially is a proper step up from ageing discs.

Not for collectors. Not for anyone who needs the extras. But as a straightforward way to own some of cinema's best adventure films at a price that barely dents your wallet, it's hard to argue with.
