What you're actually getting
This is a Masterplug cable reel, 10 metres, four sockets, rated at 10A. It's the sort of thing that lives in a garage or gets dragged out every time you need to hoover the car or run a pressure washer across the drive. The blue and black housing is robust enough, nothing fancy. At under eight quid from Amazon Resale in "Very Good" or "Like New" condition, it's a reasonable punt.
Personally, I've had Masterplug kit before and it's solid, unpretentious stuff. Not the sort of thing you show off, but it does the job without any drama.
The used condition question
Here's where I'd pump the brakes slightly. "Used - Very Good" on Amazon Resale can mean a minor scuff or it can mean someone returned it after deciding the cable was two metres short for their purposes. You're unlikely to get something that's genuinely knackered, Amazon Resale tends to be fairly honest about condition, but there's no guarantee the reel mechanism is silky smooth.
For anything safety-critical indoors, I'd want new. But for the shed, the garden, the occasional outdoor power need? This is probably fine.
Who it's actually for
If you need a long extension reel and you're not precious about it having a pristine box, this makes a lot of sense. Students setting up a flat, allotment holders, anyone fitting out a workshop on a tight budget. Not really for someone who needs a heavy-duty 13A reel for power tools all day long, the 10A rating is a limitation worth knowing.
