What You're Actually Getting

A year's supply. That's the first thing worth saying. Three hundred and sixty-five tablets of D3 at 4000iu paired with K2 MK7 at 100mcg. That last bit matters more than most people realise. K2 is what helps shuttle calcium where it's supposed to go rather than letting it wander off into your arteries. Most budget D3 supplements just skip it entirely, which is honestly a bit lazy of them.

The 4000iu dose is solid without being reckless. Some people go higher, but for a daily maintenance supplement this sits comfortably in the range most GPs wouldn't raise an eyebrow at.

Who This Is For

Personally, I think anyone living in Britain who isn't already supplementing D3 through winter should be. We just don't get the sun. My colleague swore he wasn't tired all the time until he started taking D3 last November and admitted, quietly, over a coffee, that he felt noticeably better by February. Anecdotal, yes. But it's a common one.

This is a good shout if:

  • You want a fuss-free, one-tablet-a-day option
  • You don't fancy paying supplement shop prices
  • You actually want the K2 included, not as an afterthought

My Honest Reservation

It's not a premium brand with years of third-party testing behind it. If you're the sort who wants NSF certification and detailed batch reports, this probably isn't your thing. For most people though, the formulation is spot on and the price is hard to argue with. At this cost per tablet, it's pretty much a no-brainer for autumn.
