Look, I'll be honest. When I saw this sitting at £2, my first instinct was to assume it's watery rubbish in a small can. And maybe it is. But 841 degrees of community heat on HotUKDeals suggests a fair few people think otherwise, and that's not nothing.
Rocket TT pitches itself as a rust remover, anti-corrosion spray and general maintenance lubricant. The 100ml size is small, no point pretending otherwise. You're not going to drench an entire gate hinge assembly with this. But for a seized padlock, a sticky bike chain, or that one drawer runner that's been grinding for six months, it's probably enough to actually do something.
Who this is actually for
Personally, I'd see this as a "chuck it in the shed drawer" purchase. The kind of thing you grab at this price because you'll eventually need it, and when you do, you'll be glad it's there. My mate keeps a similar spray just for his allotment tools over winter, a thin coat before storing them stops the rust creeping in. A couple of these would cover that job handily.
If you're a tradesperson or you've got a serious rust problem on something structural, this isn't your answer. You need proper volume for that.
But for casual home maintenance? Spot on for the price. Just don't expect a full-size can and you won't be disappointed.
