What you're actually getting
It's a plastic holder, a refill can, and a timer. That's it. The scent itself is soft, a bit woody, a hint of something vaguely spa-like. Not overpowering. My partner called it "that hotel smell" which, honestly, is about right. It sprays automatically every 9, 18, or 36 minutes depending on your setting. You don't think about it. That's the point.
Who this is genuinely for
If you've got a hallway, a downstairs loo, or a utility room that could do with some help, this sorts it quietly and cheaply. The essential oils angle is a bit of marketing fluff if I'm being honest, but the scent itself isn't harsh or synthetic-smelling in the way some air fresheners can be. It's mild. Inoffensive. That's actually a compliment here.
Not for you if you want something premium or long-lasting in a large open room. The range is limited, and you'll notice the scent fades towards the end of the refill more than you'd expect.
The honest reservation
No was-price, no discount. At around four quid it's genuinely cheap, but you're not bagging a deal so much as finding a decent everyday product at a fair price. The refills add up over time, so factor that in. Still, for a first-time try with the holder included, there's not much risk. Pick it up, see if it works for your space.
