What you're actually getting
Irn-Bru is one of those drinks that doesn't need much introduction if you've spent any time in Scotland, or honestly just near a Scottish person. Bright orange, weirdly sweet, tastes like bubblegum had a fight with a fizzy cola bottle and somehow won. Twelve cans for around £2.70 is a genuinely good price. Subscribe and Save takes it down a touch further if you're the type who plans ahead.
I keep a few cans in the back of the fridge, mostly for weekend mornings after a late Friday. There's something about the carbonation and that almost medicinal sweetness that sorts you out. Not saying it's a health drink, obviously. It absolutely isn't.
Who this is actually for
If you're already a fan, this is a no-brainer buy. Stocking up at this price makes sense, full stop. If you grew up south of the border and never really got into it, this probably won't convert you. It's a very specific flavour and people tend to either love it or find it a bit much.
One small caveat: it's the Regular version, so full sugar. If you're after the diet or the new recipe variants you'll want to double-check before ordering. Easy mistake to make.
The honest verdict
Spotted with serious community traction on HotUKDeals, which usually means the price is solid and the stock won't hang around. For fans of the stuff, this is spot on. Grab a couple of multipacks if you've got the cupboard space, because when it sells out you'll be paying supermarket prices again.
