What you're actually getting

Eighteen 330ml cans of Kopparberg Mixed Fruit. Not the pear, not the strawberry and lime, the mixed fruit, which is honestly the most reliably drinkable of the lot. It's sweet, it's light, it's 4% ABV. Nobody's pretending this is a serious cider from a Somerset orchard. But that's sort of the point.

At just over a tenner on Subscribe and Save, you're paying well under 60p a can. That's cheaper than most supermarket own-brand lagers, for something people will actually choose to drink.

Who this is actually for

If you're hosting a barbecue, a birthday, or just a Friday evening with a few mates round, this makes a lot of sense. My neighbour brought a load of these to a garden party last summer. Gone by 8pm. Not because people were necking them frantically, just because they're easy to enjoy and nobody was leaving them unfinished.

Not for you if you hate sweet drinks, obviously. Or if you're the sort who winces at anything that isn't a heritage scrumpy pressed by someone called Gerald. Fair enough.

The Subscribe and Save bit

The catch, if you'd call it that, is the S&S requirement. You'll need to remember to cancel or adjust after delivery. Bit annoying, but not exactly a hidden trap. Just set a reminder on your phone now.

Over 2,200 degrees of heat on HotUKDeals, which tells you the community reckons it's a proper deal. Hard to argue with that.
