What you're actually getting

This is a concentrated cold coffee, 260ml, meant to be diluted or poured over ice and topped up with milk. It's not a ready-to-drink can. Worth knowing before you crack it open expecting a full serving. Starbucks calls it Rich Black, and honestly, the flavour is pretty bold for a supermarket concentrate. It's got that slightly roasty, slightly bitter edge that works well once you add a decent splash of oat milk.

I tried one on a Tuesday morning when I couldn't be bothered firing up the Moka pot. Poured it over a glass of ice, added some milk, done in about 20 seconds. Tasted like something I'd have paid four quid for at a coffee shop without blinking. That context matters.

Who this is actually for

If you're already buying iced lattes on the go regularly, this makes sense. It's quick, it's convenient, and at this price point with a voucher applied, it's not hard to justify.

If you're a proper coffee snob who grinds their own beans and talks about origin notes, this won't be your thing. It's not pretending to be specialty coffee. It's a shortcut, and a decent one.

My one reservation: 260ml doesn't go as far as you'd hope if you're making generous servings. You're probably getting two drinks out of it, maybe three if you're cautious. Fine for a solo treat, slightly annoying if you wanted to share it.

Not a life-changing product. But spot on for what it is.
