The chocolate itself, honestly
Toblerone is one of those things you either love or you've simply stopped thinking about. The 340g bar is the sweet spot size, big enough to actually share, small enough that you won't feel guilty opening it on a Tuesday evening on the sofa. The honey and almond nougat bits are the whole point, really. That slightly chewy, slightly sticky texture breaking up the milk chocolate. Without those, it's just a triangle. With them, it's still a bit special.
I'll be honest, I'd half-forgotten how good it was until I had a piece at a mate's place last Christmas. She'd picked one up at the airport and we worked through half of it watching something terrible on telly. It reminded me why it became a classic in the first place.
Who this actually suits
This is for people who want a reliable chocolate bar they can keep in the cupboard for guests, for a treat, or for wrapping up as a low-effort gift. It's not for anyone looking for single-origin craft chocolate or something to impress a foodie.
The Subscribe & Save route makes sense if you already use the service. Locking in a decent price on something you'll definitely use is just sensible shopping.
One reservation: Subscribe & Save means committing to regular deliveries, so if you're not already organised about managing your subscriptions, you could end up with a mountain of Toblerone. Which, personally, I'd consider a mild success. Others might not.
