Three Games for the Price of a Pint and a Half

Look, at under eleven quid, you're basically getting Tomb Raider IV, V, and VI remastered for PS5. That's The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel of Darkness for those keeping score. Not the most beloved era of Lara's history, sure, but there's a lot of game here for the money.

Personally, I have a soft spot for The Last Revelation. My mate lent me the PS1 original back in 1999 and I spent an entire weekend stuck in the Tomb of Seth, completely baffled, absolutely hooked. The remaster keeps that same layout, same puzzles, same slightly obtuse design philosophy. It's not been modernised into something unrecognisable. That's either a selling point or a warning, depending on your tolerance for old-school tank controls.

Who This Is Actually For

If you played these as a kid and want them back on modern hardware, this is spot on value. Simple as that. The visual touch-up is tasteful rather than dramatic, which I appreciate.

Honestly though, if you've never played these before and you're used to the 2013 reboot style, brace yourself. The controls are stiff, the camera is unforgiving, and Angel of Darkness was a bit of a mess even when it launched. No amount of remastering fixes a slightly broken game.

But for nostalgia hunters or retro gaming enthusiasts who want something different from their PS5 library? Not half bad at all. The community heat on this one is high for good reason. Stock won't hang around forever at this price.
