Three months for roughly £33 sounds like a lot until you remember a single new release costs £60 to £70 these days. I picked this up last winter and genuinely forgot what it was like to pay per game for a good few months. First Flight Simulator session on a rainy Tuesday, not spending a penny extra. That's the hook.
The library is proper good. Not bloated filler either. Starfield, Forza, Hi-Fi Rush, a rotating selection of indie gems. It moves fast enough that you don't get bored.
Who this is actually for
If you own an Xbox Series X or S, this is a no-brainer. PC players get solid value too, especially with day-one releases on Microsoft titles. If you only play PlayStation or your gaming is strictly mobile, move on, nothing here for you.
My honest reservation: the value does drop a bit if you're the type who locks onto one game for three months straight. You'd have been better off just buying that game outright. But for anyone who flits between titles, or wants a low-commitment way back into gaming after a break, it's spot on.
